We offer a position as Key Account Manager, Maritime for Greater China with base in our Shanghai office. The region include the three major shipping and shipbuilding countries in the world China, Korea and Japan in which Thrane & Thrane already has a significant revenue base.
Based on our suite of new Satellite and Radio products, it will be the responsibility of the KAM, to pursue our ambition to achieve significant growth of our maritime business with the major ship owners in greater China.
The position as KAM involves business responsibility for selected customers in the region. It ranges from the maintenance and development of our business with current and new partners as well as planning and ution of exhibitions and partner events. The job also involves a planning and administrative component covering among other tasks, sales forecasting and monthly reports to be submitted to the office in Shanghai.
Together with our partners you shall establish quarterly business targets and activity plans in their respective business domains. The position is expected to involve between 80 and 100 travel days a year in the region.
We expect you
a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience within the maritime industry. Previous employment with a major Chinese shipowner and knowledge of IP technologies will be preferred.
Your education could be either within international business development, electronics engineering or previous employment with a ship owner/manager combined with relevant commercial practical experience.
You must have proven experience in building business to business relationships at high management level within the ship owning community. In addition you should have the ability to relate and build relationships with people inside and outside our company as well as poses language skills in English and/or knowledge of one or more Asian language.Most important however is your proven experience in building business in general, your ability to relate and build relationships with people inside and outside our company and your language skills in English and/or knowledge of one or more Asian languages. |
